What is a COVID Recovery Certificate?

A COVID Recovery Certificate is official proof of recovery from COVID infection. Perfect for frequent travellers who need multiple tests to satisfy the entry requirements of popular travel destinations, a Recovery Certificate is just £59 and is delivered in 12 hours during our processing times.

A COVID Recovery Certificate is accepted by many countries for unvaccinated travellers.

Who could use a COVID Recovery Certificate?

For example, this is good news for those planning on taking a trip to Spain this summer.

Spain considers people fully vaccinated once they’ve received a booster, or have had a second jab within the past 270 days. Most second vaccinations were done between March and August 2021, and with around 10 million people* still not having received their booster, a significant number of passengers could now fall outside of this window and be considered unvaccinated, thus requiring a test to enter the country.

Our certificate confirms that you have tested positive for COVID within the past six months and recovered fully, meeting Spanish entry requirements for arrivals who would otherwise be seen as unvaccinated.

How to get a COVID Recovery Certificate

Getting a certificate is simple: all you need is a positive test result from a DHSC-listed provider, taken within the last 180 days. Simply visit our COVID Recovery Certificate page to upload it and input your details.

Without the certificate, those who are not fully vaccinated will need a booster 14 days or more before travel. Check your destination's entry requirements for the most up-to-date information.

*Government data shows that 50m people in the UK have had a second vaccination, but only 40m had a booster: https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/vaccinations
